Safeco Insurance, a member of Liberty Mutual Group, has opened a new office in Fenton, Missouri. Liberty Mutual also planning to recruit 100 additional employees in St Louis County over the next two years.
The new Fenton office is one of 16 Liberty Mutual facilities in Missouri. Safeco’s parent company employs approximately 780 people across the state.
Safeco works with approximately 250 independent insurance agencies throughout Missouri to distribute its personal lines insurance coverages to consumers.
Safeco vice president and central regional general manager Rich Meuret said, Safeco’s and Liberty Mutual’s continued success depends on hiring high-quality people who can help meet the needs of the firm’s independent agents and policyholders.
