National Financial Partners (NFP), a provider of benefits, insurance and wealth management services, has appointed Kristen Whisnant as new senior vice president of Advisory & Investment Services.
Whisnant will report directly to James Poer, president of NFP Advisor Services Group and NFP Securities.
She will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, talent management, packaging and sales of all fee-based and packaged product solutions for Advisory and Investment Services.
Previously, Whisnant was formerly vice president of advisory and brokerage consulting for LPL Financial, where she was responsible for developing investment product and platform-specific sales strategies for advisory, brokerage, high net worth and retirement plan sales growth.
Poer said, Kristen has the experience, drive and vision needed to successfully lead Advisory and Investment Services to further enhance services to independent financial advisors, RIAs and their clients.
