Vienna Insurance Group in Slovakia has appointed Klaudia Volnerova as the new chief financial officer(CFO).

In this role, she will have responsibility for the divisions of finance and accounting, controlling and investment. She will succeed Gabor Lehel, who will focus on the Hungarian market in the future.

Volnerova has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance industry. She was for Kooperativa, a Vienna Insurance company, for 14 years, most recently managing the whole finance division. Previously she was director of the accounting department. Before joining Kooperativa she was director of accounting at Slovenska poisttovna.

Vienna Insurance Group CEO and chairman of the supervisory board of Kooperativa Gunter Geyer said that Volnerova will manage her executive portfolio with experience, and will make a major contribution to the continuing successful development of largest group company in Slovakia.

The insurance companies of the Vienna Insurance Group offer insurance services in both the life insurance and non-life insurance areas.
