Towergate, a London-based insurance intermediary, has extended its investment partnership in Landscape, with RDT’s flagship packaged insurance application, to support its growth.
Towergate adopted Landscape application as its strategic underwriting platform, across its household portfolio, including high-net-worth, in 2008 and realized immediate benefits.
The insurer has extended the usage of Landscape solution into its Let properties business line and now plans to roll the platform out across further business portfolios.
RDT said that Landscape brings increased business efficiency and flexibility of operational processes to Towergate and streamlining the IT infrastructure across personal lines with Landscape will support the company growing market share.
Towergate chief information officer Mike Newman said the company has chosen RDT’s Landscape solution because of flexible nature of the system.
"We have replaced four existing underwriting platforms in two of our underwriting businesses with Landscape, reducing our operational support costs significantly going forward.
"The entire implementation, which might have been daunting, was seamless. At the same time, Landscape gives us a scalable architecture, whilst its intuitive interface means minimal training is required for new starters. The combination of all of these factors make a compelling business case for the extended adoption of the system which will help to power Towergate towards its business growth goals," Newman said.
