American Safety Insurance (ASI) has appointed Kevin Crombie as vice president of Sales and New Business Development.
In his new role, he will be responsible for the expansion and further development of ASI’s specialty lines of business with a concentration on West Coast specialty markets.
Crombie has 40 years of experience in the insurance industry on both the carrier and brokerage sides.
Most recently he ran his own E&S brokerage in Southern California for more than 10 years and subsequently managed a national program for specialty construction business.
He began his career with The Hartford and has also managed Howden’s Western Region, Crump National Brokerage’s office in Dallas.
ASI vice president of marketing Patrick Driscoll said ASI has worked closely with Kevin as a broker for a number of years and they are confident in his ability to help the company to achieve its growth objectives and improve product penetration in key markets.
