Aviva UK has enhanced its online trading platform Fast Trade with the addition of three new products, thus expanding the range of packages that brokers will be able to transact online.

The added products include cargo annual product, computer and manufacturing & wholesale, bringing the total number of the packages being traded on Fast Trade to a nine.

Aviva said Fast Trade provides brokers with the ability to quote and buy a policy within five minutes and the ability to download copies of documentation instantly.

It also added that mid-term adjustments, cancellations and renewal processing can also be actioned via Fast Trade, making it a full cycle processing system, and the fast track referral process is designed to respond to all referrals within one hour.

Fast Trade also helps brokers to know which trades Aviva can accept and decline, and those which need to be referred to an Aviva underwriter.

Fast Trade was launched in July 2009 with six commercial packages: residential property owners; self-employed; office and surgery; shop and salon; pub, restaurant and hotel and commercial property owners.

Aviva regional broker director Gareth Hemming said the addition of the cargo annual, computer and manufacturing and wholesale products to Fast Trade will make it easier for brokers to transact these packages.
