UK-based fund manager Standard Life Investments has appointed Will Pawson as investment director for southern Europe.
Based in Edinburgh, Scotland and reporting to Phil Barker, head of European business development, Mr Pawson will be responsible for the wholesale and institutional marketing of Standard Life Investments’s products in Spain, Portugal and Italy.
Mr Pawson joins the company from Morley Fund Management (now part of Aviva Investors) where he held the position of country head of Iberia.
Mr Barker said: With nearly 10 years experience of sales and marketing within the Iberian fund management arena, Will Pawson is well placed to play a leading role in bringing Standard Life Investments’s products to southern Europe.
