Crawford & Company, a provider of claims management solutions, has promoted two members of its legal department to serve in the newly created positions of associate general counsel for the company.

Tami Stevenson, general counsel of Broadspire, a Crawford Company and third party administrator of workers compensation claims, has been appointed as vice president and associate general counsel – operations.

Stevenson will continue in her current role and will add responsibilities for the operation and administration of the law department in support of Allen Nelson, general counsel, corporate secretary and chief administrative officer for Crawford.

Stevenson has served as corporate legal counsel for Broadspire since 1997 and was named general counsel of the organization in 2007.

Crawford also promoted Eric Powers to the role of vice president, associate general counsel -corporate and assistant corporate secretary. Powers will also continue with his current responsibilities for corporate legal matters.

Powers has served as assistant vice president, corporate counsel and assistant corporate secretary at Crawford since 2005.
