Insurance firm Ageas has appointed Roy Watkinson as head of commercial pricing and underwriting to support the growth of its commercial lines business, effective 1 August 2011.
In this newly created role, Watkinson will lead more than 100 employees team to deliver Ageas’s strategic commercial program through pricing, underwriting and further strengthening broker relationships.
He will report to Ageas’ underwriting director Adam Clarke.
Watkinson has more than 36 years of industry experience with previous roles including at Axa Insurance, where he was technical and commercial underwriting director.
Clarke said Roy joins an already strong management team and they will benefit considerably from his technical and commercial expertise and leadership.
