Willis Group Holdings, a UK-based insurance broker, has received Chinese Insurance Regulatory Commission (CIRC) approval to open office in the megalopolis of Chongqing, China.

The new office will be the Willis Group’s 21st office in China.

Willis China CEO Mitchell Ma said that the new office enables clients and markets to enhance cooperation to provide best quality services, backed by Willis’ global resources.

Wills China offers risk management and insurance services to medium- and large-sized enterprises in China, supported by the global resources of Willis’ worldwide operations.

Willis Group is a global insurance broker, developing and delivering professional insurance, reinsurance, risk management, financial and human resource consulting and actuarial services to corporations, public entities and institutions.

The group has more than 400 offices in nearly 120 countries, with a team of nearly 20,000 associates.
