Additional cover for the loss or damage of electronic devices
Student Insurance Partners (SIP), underwritten by Hanover Insurance Company, has incorporated additional cover within the standard laptop insurance plan- available to faculty, staff and students of grades K-12.
According to Student Insurance Partners, the expanded laptop insurance plan includes cover for the loss or damage of all bounded print educational books within the care, custody, or control of the insured student. In addition, the coverage for student academic and educational books is standard and provided at no additional cost to the core laptop insurance plan, said the company.
SIP also stated to provide faculty, staff, and students the opportunity to add additional cover for the loss or damage of electronic devices.
