Heffernan, a US based independent insurance brokerage firm, has appointed Brett Lantz as new assistant vice president to its Orange, California office.

In his new role, Lantz will be responsible for producing new business in Southern California. The Orange office specializes in nonprofits and religious organizations.

Lantz will join Heffernan after a 16-month stint at Wood, Gutman and Bogart. Prior to that, Lantz worked as a sales associate for Bak-Co Ventures in Bakersfield and as a real estate broker at Marcus & Millichap in Roseville.

Heffernan senior vice president for Orange branch Ed Nokes said that the company is thrilled to welcome Brett on board as a member of the team, and look forward to watching him grow the presence in Southern California.

Heffernan Insurance Brokers offers a full line of property, liability, group medical insurance, personal insurance and financial services.
