Zurich North America Risk Engineering Unit Forms New Global Energy Team

To service global energy property and casualty customers in North America

Zurich North America Risk Engineering unit has created a new Global Energy team to service the needs of global energy property and casualty customers in North America.

The team will be led by Sylvia Layton, head of Risk Engineering, North America Global Energy.

Armand Fernandez, chief risk engineering officer of Zurich North America, said: “We have a wealth of knowledge within Risk Engineering, and by bringing together our most experienced global energy risk engineers, Zurich will be better aligned with our customers’ organisations and be able to better leverage all of Risk Engineering’s resources and tools.”

Fernandez stated that the collective experience of the team in the energy industry and on energy-specific risk management services exceeds 300 years. He also highlighted the North American focus of the team, which is closely aligned with Zurich’s efforts to enhance a worldwide network of Global Energy Risk Engineering services.
