Zurich North America Commercial has increased the available capacity for its Specialty Errors and Omissions business from $10m to $25m and removed revenue restrictions for primary business.

Zurich said that it is also enhancing its targeted markets to focus on non-licensed professionals in order to offer its products to a wider range of companies, from small organizations to large commercial enterprises.

Lori Bailey, presently head of head of professional liability at Zurich North America Commercial, will now lead its E&O team.

The Specialty E&O group offers a range of professional liability products and services, including enhanced Zurich Pro Plus, which offers coverage and options; Zurich Security & Privacy Protection that helps customers manage exposures associated with data breaches; and Employed Lawyers Select coverage for employed lawyers in businesses and not-for-profit organizations.

Ms Bailey said: “We have combined the units that write this business to offer our customers continuity of service across all revenue segments. This, in addition to our increased capacity and broader appetite, will enable us to serve many more customers than in the past. We believe this is great news for our customers and the brokers with whom we work.”
