Zurich Global Corporate UK, which offers risk management services, has appointed David Hall as its new CEO. Mr Hall takes over from David Martin who is now head of customer and distribution management for Zurich Global Corporate.
Mr Hall’s priority is to further strengthen Global Corporate’s position in the UK by applying his acknowledged strengths in risk management and his ability to develop strong customer relationships and drive profitable growth through rigorous underwriting. This focus is a perfect fit with Zurich’s group goals.
Prior to joining Zurich, Mr Hall was director of market management and communications at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty. He initially came into the insurance industry from an engineering background and has worked with three major insurers over 20 years.
Thomas Hurlimann, CEO of Global Corporate in Europe, said: David’s extensive knowledge of the insurance industry in general, and the corporate insurance segment in particular, underpinned by deep insight into customer and broker relations makes him ideally positioned for his new role.
