GBO will underwrite expanded personal accident insurance product offerings
Zurich North America Commercial’s Accident & Health (A&H) group has entered into a strategic relationship with Group Benefit Options (GBO), a division of Personal Accident specialty underwriter, ZON Re.
Under this collaboration, GBO will underwrite expanded personal accident insurance product offerings in the affinity/association group market, as well as Texas non-subscriber market of Zurich.
Bryan Salvatore, executive vice president of Accident & Health for Zurich’s Specialties Business, said: “Our enhanced ability to serve employers with 300 to 1,500 employees is crucial to expanding our value proposition in this market. This relationship also enables us to expand our presence in the Texas non-subscriber, as well as affinity and association group markets, which GBO has served for many years.”
