Swiss-based Zurich Financial Services plans to sell its Geneva Insurance business to Swiss Life Holding according to a report in the Swiss media.
Finanz und Wirtschaft, a finance magazine, said that the board of Switzerland’s largest insurer has yet to give final approval. Zurich Financial recently scrapped plans to sell another of its insurance units, Universal Underwriters Group, after a deal to sell the business to a group of buyout firms fell through.
