Zurich North America Commercial (Zurich), a property and casualty insurance provider, has appointed Julie Bolton as Vice President of risk services for its operations in Canada.

Ms. Bolton will be responsible for addressing overall strategy and objectives, product design, and development and product delivery for risk services in Canada. She will be focussing on building relationships between the Canadian business units, risk services and Zurich customers.

Ms. Bolton has served as Regional Manager for Ontario and Western Canada Zurich Risk Services. Prior to joining Zurich, she was with several Canadian organisations, most recently Automation Tooling Systems in Cambridge, Ontario, where she was on-site senior project manager/client manager.

Ms. Bolton replaces Sylvia Layton, who has been named Head of Risk Engineering for Zurich North America Global Energy.
