Zurich appoints senior corporate distribution manager

Zurich has appointed Melvin Hanks as senior corporate distribution manager.

Mr Hanks will be responsible for maximizing the distribution of the Zurich corporate pension proposition. He will report to head of corporate distribution for Zurich corporate pensions Stephen Lefley.

Mr Hanks joins from Winterthur Life, part of the AXA group where he was defined contribution account manager. He was responsible for securing new DC pension sales from UK actuarial and employee benefit practices. Before this, he was regional pensions manager at Eagle Star Group.

Mr Lefley, head of corporate distribution for Zurich, said: Melvin is a highly talented sales manager with extensive contacts in the UK pension market. He has an excellent reputation and his appointment underlines our commitment to achieving our goal for excellence in the corporate pensions arena.
