Zurich has appointed Scott Rasor as the new head of Zurich North America Commercial's Construction group. Mr Rasor will be based in Zurich in North America's Schaumburg headquarters.
Previously, Mr Rasor served as senior vice president for construction, specializing in residential and specialty risks.
Mr Rasor joined Zurich in 1995 as a liability major case supervisor in claims. Prior to his most recent appointment, he served as head of market for architects and engineers and also residential products such as homebuilders protective and volume builders policies.
Steve Rand, president of Zurich North America Commercial’s Customer Industry Segments, said: “With his wealth of experience with both Zurich and the construction industry, Scott will be a strong and valued leader of our Construction business. We look forward to him continuing to grow Zurich’s market-leading position in the construction industry.”
