Zurich has launched a claims application for its motor and home insurance customers in Ireland, compatible with both Apple and Android smart phones.
The launch of the combined motor and home claims application represents a one-stop-shop for its customers to record, report and track a car or home insurance claim.
With this launch, Zurich motor and home customers can download the new enhanced app using any Apple or Android phone.
The company said that the newly enhanced app now features tips to minimize claims exposure in the home and handy tips for driving in severe weather conditions along with a new parking locator tool for customers who have trouble finding their car in busy carparks.
Zurich Insurance chief marketing officer Maurice Cullen said that with this combined claims app their customers stand to benefit from their ongoing commitment to providing a fast and efficient claims service by utilising the latest technology.
"Claims that are submitted using the new app will be instantly fast-tracked to our claims department and customers will receive a response within one working day," added Cullen.
