To offer protection for contractors with annual or project-specific revenues of up to $10m
Zurich North America Commercial has announced that its Zurich Integrated Products (ZIP) unit is expanding its environmental offering to include two additional products.
The first one is the Environmental Services Package (ESP) that combines commercial general liability with contractor’s pollution liability (CPL) and professional liability for acts, errors or omissions of the insured.
The Z Link product integrates commercial general liability, site-specific pollution and other liability coverage, such as products pollution into a single policy form.
Like the monoline CPL coverage available through ZIP, the ESP form will offer protection for contractors with annual or project-specific revenues of up to $10m and no more than 25% environmental work (larger firms, and those with more than 25% environmental work, will be referred to Zurich Environmental for consideration).
ESP includes occurrence-based, commercial general liability coverage and contractor’s pollution liability for third-party claims due to a pollution event arising out of covered operations. In addition, professional liability coverage for acts, errors or omissions of the insured can be added to the policy.
Coverage highlights include no exclusions for asbestos, lead, underground storage tanks, Superfund or radioactive matter, and optional coverage for professional liability. Many additional commercial general liability endorsements, as well as pollution transportation, non-owned disposal sites and project-specific coverage are also available.
Like the existing monoline site-specific pollution liability coverage provided by ZIP on the Z Choice form, Z Link offers flexibility and ease of use. Other coverage options include incidental contractor’s pollution liability, first-party on-site cleanup, fines and penalties (where insurable by law), product recall and incidental professional liability.
