Zane Benefits, which provides health benefit solutions to individuals, families and employers, has appointed Scott Halstead as president and CEO.
Mr Halstead succeeds the company’s founder, Paul Pilzer, who will remain chairman of the board.
Prior to joining Zane Benefits, Mr Halstead was CEO of WageWorks. During his tenure, the company grew from $6 million to more than $80 million in recurring revenue.
Mr Pilzer said: Scott is the right leader for Zane Benefits at this time in our evolution. His health benefits leadership and experience in transforming early-stage companies into profitable, high-growth enterprises over the last decade make him ideally suited to help achieve our strategic goals.
