Has promoted Neil Robertson as the new chief underwriting officer for its global specialty business
XL Insurance, the global insurance operations of XL Capital, has promoted Neil Robertson as the new chief underwriting officer for its global specialty business – reported tradingmarkets.
Previously, Mr. Robertson was the Global Head of XL Insurance’s fine art and specie and equine operations. He will uphold his involvement in managing these businesses as part of his broader tasks, which now includes the company’s global speciality lines.
He will supervise the role of active underwriter of XL Syndicate 1209 at Lloyd’s, managed by XL London Market (subject to formal approval from Lloyd’s).
