XL Insurance, the global insurance operations of XL Group, has appointed Peter Wullimann as a new general manager of Nordic Region.
Wullimann has approximately 20 years of experience in the commercial insurance market. He will join XL Insurance from Chartis where he most recent role was financial lines manager for Sweden.
Previous positions at Chartis included segment manager for all commercial lines in Sweden and regional financial lines manager for CE-CIS countries, based in London.
XL Insurance regional operating officer UK, Ireland and Nordic Region Donal Kelly said that under Peter’s leadership XL Insurance’s Nordic team will continue to build its insurance portfolio of locally underwritten property, casualty, marine, environmental and professional lines coverage.
"His extensive market knowledge and experience in delivering a truly customer and broker focused service will further strengthen our reputation and market position across the region," Kelly said.
