Wholesale Trading Co-Op Insurance Services (WTCI), a California-based wholesale broker, has appointed Julie Sylim-Uang as new vice president/commercial accounts.
Sylim-Uang will join WTCI recently from US Risk of CA, having several years prior at Cambridge General Agency, where she had overall responsibility for the underwriting, production and processing of binding authority contracts with major specialty carriers.
WTCI managing director Les Ross said Julie Sylim-Uang is a recognized expert in the wholesale binding authority/program segment and brings the focused credibility in that space.
WTCI president and CEO John Jennings said the initial members have significant numbers of accounts in these areas, and WTCI expect to build proprietary programs as it refine the data aggregation and analysis process.
WTCI collaborates directly with its retail insurance broker members to develop comprehensive placement strategies.
