Woodruff-Sawyer, a San Francisco-based independent insurance brokerage firm, has appointed Harry Rowell as new vice president, risk solutions.

In this role, Rowell will be responsible to deliver the solutions to solve the complex challenges facing large, national and global companies, especially in the communications and technology, automotive and retail sectors.

Rowell will join Woodruff-Sawyer with a experience having worked for Johnson and Higgins, Nokia and Marsh.

Most recently, Rowell served as partner and director at JRS Risk Services, managing client service and leading growth plans for the firm.

Woodruff-Sawyer chairman Doug Morton said Rowell will be based in Atlanta, expanding the company talent both in quality and in geography.
