Willis Programs, a unit of Willis Group Holdings, has partnered Chartis for its MetalWorkingGuard and PlasticsGuard programs, which provide property and liability insurance solutions for businesses in metal goods and plastics manufacturing industries.
Willis said that both programs feature Chartis insurers’ admitted property, general liability, products liability, equipment breakdown, crime, auto, and umbrella coverages, and also industry-specific loss control and claims services.
MetalWorkingGuard is designed to meet insurance needs of metal goods manufacturers, metal finishers, machine shops, electroplaters, foundries, metal goods distributors and allied businesses.
The PlasticsGuard program serves needs of plastic manufacturers, plastic injection molders, distributors of plastic products and extruders.
Willis Programs president and CEO David Hampson said that the company has had a long relationship with Chartis’ programs division and the new program opportunities allow it to expand with a trusted partner.
