Willis North America, a unit of Willis Group Holdings, has appointed Hilaire Damiron, as the new CEO of Willis Mexico, effective immediately.
In his new role, Damiron will lead the company’s retail operation and drive growth in Mexico, and will report to Willis North America president and chief operating officer Vic Krauze.
Damiron joined Willis in 2006 as chief commercial officer for Willis Brazil, and in 2008 he became chief commercial officer for Willis Latin America. Later in 2008, he transferred from Brazil to Mexico to serve as P&C leader for Willis Mexico.
Vic Krauze said that Hilaire’s long track record of success and strong leadership skills will help drive breakout growth for the company’s critical platform, while reinforcing its position in the Mexican market.
