The company claims that the new analytics module can boost the ability of human resources (HR) teams to gain deep insights into employee opinions and attitudes.

The analytics module improves the analytical capabilities of the software as it integrates and analyzes multiple sources of survey data alongside an organization’s own human resource information systems (HRIS) data. This will help organizations in understanding how employee opinions vary across surveys and any information stored in HRIS, such as performance rating, reward, leadership or gender.

The simple interface and data visualization of the module will enable HR and people analytics professionals to find answers to critical talent, HR and business questions.

Willis Towers Watson employee insights global practice leader Stephen Young said: “This new module makes Willis Towers Watson Employee Engagement Software the most powerful in the industry. Analytics teams within HR functions need simple ways to house multiple data sets in one place and mine them for critical insights. Until now, this has not been easy.

“Our new module takes clients’ historical survey data and combines it with their own HRIS data to create the deepest insights into employee engagement. This will allow clients to spend time providing leadership with insights rather than scripting research tools or playing with multiple data files.”

Last month Willis Towers Watson announced the acquisition of TRANZACT, a direct-to-consumer health care firm that links individuals to insurance carriers in the US, from a fund belonging to private equity manager Clayton, Dubilier& Rice (CD&R).

TRANZACT will function as an integral part of the WTW’s Benefits Delivery and Administration (BDA) business. The company has a workforce of 1,300, including 850 licensed agents. It combines digital marketing, sales and data science expertise to connect individuals to insurance carriers.

Currently, TRANZACT markets a range products, including Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, Prescription Drug Plan (PDP) and ancillary products such as dental, vision, life and indemnity.
