Wholesale Trading Insurance Services (WTC) has appointed Kris Bauer and Sean Burke as new chief operating officer and director, respectively.
Bauer joins WTC from San Francisco office of Am Wins Group, where he was an executive vice president, specializing in the design, placement and management of commercial insurance programs.
According to the company, Bauer will continue to focus on these disciplines as WTC builds out its capabilities for retail broker members.
Burke comes to WTC from Colemont Brokerage Group, where he was senior vice president, specializing in financial and executive liability risk. He previously held positions as managing director of financial risk at Am Wins Brokerage Group and as western zone manager at American International Group.
WTC president and CEO John Jennings said that both Bauer and Burke will work closely with the company’s retail broker members and key specialty insurance markets to change the current industry dynamic bringing the interests of the buyer, retailer, wholesaler and specialty carrier into direct alignment.
