Bupa Health Insurance has entered into a three-year deal to provide private healthcare cover to approximately 1,500 Whitbread team members, including employees from Premier Travel Inn, Brewers Fayre, Beefeater and Costa Coffee.
Whitbread selected Bupa Health Insurance after the company demonstrated a broad knowledge and understanding of Whitbread’s health and financial requirements in a winning pitch. Bupa’s key focus was to demonstrate proof of value and cost certainty for Whitbread over a three-year period.
As part of the deal, Bupa will offer Whitbread staff a healthcare plan that provides comprehensive medical cover, giving employees access to Bupa’s networks of specialist treatment centers for breast, bowel and gynecological cancers, a 24/7 helpline staffed by nurses and a wide range of Bupa member offers giving discounts on health, household, travel and leisure services.
