Wells Fargo Insurance Services has announced that it is expanding its national professional risk group by appointing Kerry Condes as its sales executive and Nabeel Tanveer as its senior vice president.

The company has said that Mr Tanveer will work along with Ms Condes and both will be based in Cincinnati. Together they will focus on offering consultations and other services to protect Ohio River Valley customers from the financial risks associated with corporate governance, errors and omissions, employment practice liability and environmental liability.

Ms Condes comes to Wells Fargo Insurance Services with 16 years of experience with important risk management teams. Her background includes both public and private companies including tough manufacturing/contracting, life sciences/medical devices, healthcare, nonprofits, municipalities, schools, REITS, energy and financial institutions.

In addition to risk transfer and financing techniques, the professional risk group will also provide policy analysis and comparisons, legal reviews and claims advocacy to help customers identify their risk exposures and maximize their risk retention. Customers will also benefit from the group’s knowledge of carriers, coverages and contracts and from direct access to the markets.

Tom Schaefer, managing director, said: We’re growing this segment by establishing a local presence, it gives us the ability to provide our customers with more expertise and an even wider range of insurance products and service options to meet their needs.
