Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA, a part of Wells Fargo & Company, has appointed Thomas Hayden as senior vice president and Midwest healthcare practice leader.

In his new role, Hayden will coordinate brokerage team efforts in delivering product knowledge and risk management consultation to the Midwest’s leading healthcare providers.

Wells Fargo said he will identify emerging risks for healthcare providers and work closely with Wells Fargo’s commercial banking customers to review their risk management needs.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Hayden held various roles at Marsh & McLennan, including property casualty practice leader in Cincinnati and manager of their Columbus office.

Most recently, Hayden served as Marsh’s East partnership healthcare industry leader, and has developed six captive insurance companies for US healthcare organizations and is a frequent speaker on risk issues facing healthcare providers.

Wells Fargo Insurance Services USA xecutive vice president and Midwest regional managing director Dan Goldapp said with this new specialty practice, the firm will be able to provide the customers in the Midwest with the healthcare insurance products and services they need.
