Berkley Oil & Gas, a member company of W R Berkley, has entered into a strategic relationship with Dallas based-JH Blades & Co, a subsidiary of Swett & Crawford Swett & Crawford.
Berkley Oil & Gas, provides a multi-line insurance product offering, including control of well, general liability, auto liability, workers’ compensation, umbrella, inland marine, property and risk control services in the domestic energy sector.
Blades/Swett operates as a surplus lines broker and managing general underwriter (MGU) specializing in oil and gas and energy-related risks and will underwrite control of well, general liability and umbrella insurance on behalf of Berkley Oil & Gas.
Berkley Oil & Gas president Carol Randall said the relationship with Blades/Swett furthers the position as a provider of insurance solutions to the oil and gas industry.
