To respond and monitor risk
W. R. Berkley Corporation has appointed Gillian James to the newly created office as the senior vice president of enterprise risk management, effective December 3, 2009.
In her new role, she will identify, analyze, model, respond to and monitor risk, events and opportunities.
Ms James has over 20 years of experience in the insurance and financial services industry, having served in the UK as a senior executive at a reinsurance intermediary where she headed the analytic team. She has experience in stochastic model development and analysis and its application to strategic decision making.
