W. R. Berkley, an insurance holding company, has named Sandra Nelson as president of Monitor Liability Managers, an underwriting management company.
Most recently, Ms. Nelson served as Monitor’s executive vice president, and has been with Monitor since its founding in 1992.
William Berkley, chairman and chief executive officer of W. R. Berkley, said: “Sandy has been a tremendous asset to Monitor. She has had duties including overseeing all of Monitor’s underwriting, administrative, producer development, product development and regulatory compliance operations. We are highly confident in her ability to assume full responsibility for Monitor’s operations.”
