W. R. Berkley has appointed Michael Connor as president of Continental Western Group, a provider of commercial insurance services.
Connor succeeds Bradley Kuster, who will oversee other activities within the WRB group of companies.
Connor, who has more than 25 years of experience in the property casualty insurance industry, served most recently as senior vice president of commercial markets for Northeast division at a property and casualty insurer.
W. R. Berkley chairman of the board and chief executive officer William Berkley said that Mike brings a wealth of experience in the regional property casualty insurance market.
"Continental Western will benefit from his expertise while continuing to bring value and opportunity to our independent agents," Berkley said.
WRB is an insurance holding company that operates in five segments of the property casualty insurance business namely specialty insurance, regional property casualty insurance, alternative markets, reinsurance and international.
