Validus Holdings has announced a number of Validus Reinsurance (Validus Re) senior management promotions.
The current Validus Re chief underwriting officer, Kean Driscoll has been appointed as Validus Re chief executive officer.
Validus Re US Property and Specialty Underwriting head Jeff Clements has been named as chief underwriting officer at Validus Re while the present executive vice president of Marine Underwriting at Validus Re, Paul Manders has been promoted as head of Specialty Underwriting.
Senior vice president of US Property Underwriting at Validus Re, Chris Silvester has been promoted as executive vice president and head of U.S. Property Underwriting.
Validus Holdings chairman and CEO Ed Noonan said: "Kean, Jeff and Paul were part of the original underwriting team at the time we formed Validus in 2005."
The Kean Driscoll, Jeff Clements and Paul Manders promotions are subject to approval by the Bermuda Department of Immigration.
