To expand service offering to companies in Northwest region

USI Holdings, an insurance brokerage firm in the US, has expanded services to companies in the Northwest by combining the operations of two of its subsidiaries, Kibble & Prentice in Seattle, and USI Northwest in Portland.

The company stated that each office will continue to operate under its existing name and in its current location, the new structure allows associates of both companies to offer services and products to customers.

According to USI, customers in Washington and Oregon will have service offerings in the commercial arena, including broader commercial insurance and benefit program services, employee and claims call centers and executive benefit and retirement plan services.

In addition, to traditional offerings, on the personal insurance side, the customers will also have access to private client services including investment consulting, wealth transfer, estate planning, and individual life, disability and long-term care insurance products and services.

Chris Prentice, CEO of Kibble & Prentice and USI Northwest, said: “Beyond the geographic proximity of the offices and the common parent company, our offices have a complementary set of skills, experiences and product offerings. We can now offer a more comprehensive set of services to clients to help them manage risk and grow their businesses.”

Reportedly, Portland-area customers will have access to Kibble & Prentice’s newly formed Risk Strategies Group, which applies consultative advice and technical expertise to develop solutions designed to align with clients’ strategic business objectives.
