USI Insurance Services (USI), an insurance brokerage company and consultant, has completed the acquisition of New York based employee benefit firm Travers, O’keefe & Associates, for an undisclosed sum.
Post-acquisition, Travers, O’keefe’s headquarters will be integrated with USI’s New York office. USI’s Albany, New York office will be combined with Travers, O’keefe’s Saratoga unit in the state.
Established in 1986, Travers, O’keefe offers benefits consulting, human resources services, and compliance and employee support to an array of companies and industries.
With the completion of this acquisition, USI has boosted its footprint as one of the largest property and casualty and employee benefits firms in the Northeast region and nationally.
USI Northeast region, regional CEO James Butler said for over 25 years, Travers, O’keefe has been a full employee benefits solution firm that partners with clients to build customized strategies that deliver high levels of client satisfaction along with cost efficiencies.
Most recently, USI signed an agreement to purchase 42 of Wells Fargo Insurance’s insurance brokerage and consulting locations across the country.
