Universal American Financial will change its corporate name to Universal American effective December 3, 2007.

The company has also announced that its common shares will begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) on December 3, 2007. Its new ticker symbol will be UAM. Universal American’s common shares will cease trading on the Nasdaq Stock Market at the close of trading on the preceding day.
