United Fire & Casualty has appointed Ed Sullivan as the regional manager for its West Coast operations in Rocklin, California, US.
In his new position, Ed will take responsibility for the overall performance of West Coast regional office.
With knowledge of California insurance industry and the agents throughout the state, Ed believes in participative management style of involving staff at all levels in the decision making process.
Ed had been working in various positions in the insurance industry, including past management positions in underwriting and marketing.
United Fire Group executive vice president Mike Wilkins said with over 25 years of experience in the insurance industry, Ed’s skill set will align with the firm.
The firm, founded in 1946, offers services in the field of writing property and casualty insurance and life insurance and selling annuities. As at 30 September 2011, the company’s net premiums written totaled $453.4m, and market capitalization was $451.1m.
