Trustmark has entered into an agreement with CVS Caremark to provide pharmacy benefits management services to all its small group, large group and association fully-insured and self-funded clients effective July 1, 2010.

According to Trustmark, CVS Caremark was chosen because of its customer service, savings for members and its shared philosophy of being personal, flexible and trusted.

The partnership is expected to offer enhanced service, convenience and savings for Trustmark group health plan members. Through CVS Caremark, members can have access to more than 64,000 pharmacies nationwide. Plus, plan members can benefit from a number of valuable programs, including savings on generics, FastStart mail service, MinuteClinic locations and specialty pharmacy services.

Trustmark has said that through Caremark.com, a password-protected site, members can check their benefit coverage, verify drug costs, view prescription history, order prescription refills, and sign-up for alerts that share cost savings and health improvement information. In addition, members can also manage their prescriptions through mobile supported site.
