An indirect and wholly-owned subsidiary of Alleghany, Transatlantic has promoted Nick Tzaneteas as head of North American Professional Liability and Brian Finlay as head of North American Treaty for Error & Omissions Liability and Directors’ and Officers’ Liability.
Tzaneteas will be responsible for setting and executing Transatlantic’s underwriting strategy for a diverse set of classes, including healthcare professional liability, E&O and D&O liability.
Finlay will be responsible for client development and underwriting strategy.
Headquartered in New York, Transatlantic and its subsidiaries offer reinsurance capacity on both a treaty and facultative basis for a full range of property and casualty products, with an emphasis on specialty risks.
