Transamerica Retirement Appoints New VP, Head Of TPA Distribution

To supervise all sales efforts in the TPA channel

Transamerica Retirement Services, a marketing unit of Transamerica Financial Life Insurance Company, has named Deborah Rubin as vice president, head of Third Party Administrator channel distribution.

In this newly-created position, Ms Rubin will head all sales efforts in the TPA channel. Her hiring is effective immediately.

Louis Bachetti, head of sales and distribution for Transamerica Retirement Services, said: “I have known Deb for more than 10 years, and her stellar experience and success in the TPA channel make her the obvious choice to lead these efforts for Transamerica. This new position was created for Deb and will be a crucial driver in our growth strategy.”

Ms Rubin has over 20 years of experience in sales and marketing of 401(k) and related products. She joins Transamerica from AUL OneAmerica where she served as regional vice president of sales. She previously served nine years in various roles at ING, most recently as divisional vice president and head of TPA services and channel management.
