Town & Country Insurance Agency has completed acquisition of Whittington Insurance, a Texas-based independent insurance agency including an additional office in the state, specializing in all lines of personal insurance coverage.
As part of the acquisition, Whittington Insurance Agency, which specialises in every line of personal insurance coverage, will keep its employees in League City and will focus on expanding Town & Country’s client base to West Houston and the Katy area.
Town & Country Insurance Agency president and CEO Reed Moraw said the company team up with David Whittington and team of experienced agents will focus on serving its clients with high levels of service.
"They will be an invaluable asset to us as we continue to develop new markets and further grow our company," Moraw added.
Town & Country, a subsidiary of Houston-based financial services Encore Bancshares, is the eighth-largest insurance agency and an affiliate of Encore Bank specialising in commercial and personal property, as well as casualty coverage.
