Towergate Insurance has named Dan Saulter as group mergers and acquisitions director effective 1 May 2012.
In this newly created role, Saulter will report to recently appointed group finance director Scott Egan, who is expected to join Towergate Insurance in the early summer of 2012.
Saulter has spent the last four years of his career at Towergate Financial in various senior leadership roles including acquisitions director and COO.
Most recently, Saulter was CEO of Towergate Financial overseeing and integrating 20 acquisitions and will remain as a non-executive director of Towergate Financial.
Prior to Towergate, Saulter held M&A and Management Consulting roles with accountancy firms KPMG and PKF.
The company said following Saulter’s promotion, Warren Page, currently COO of Towergate Financial will be promoted to CEO (subject to FSA approval).
