New York-based Tompkins Insurance Agencies, a subsidiary of Tompkins Financial, has acquired Olver & Associates Insurance of Ithaca.
As part of the acquisition, Olver & Associates’s owner Neil Olver will serve as senior vice president and on the leadership team of Tompkins Insurance.
Neil Olver will continue to focus on new business, as well as managing current customer accounts, while Lisa Olver, will continue her role as commercial lines account manager. Tompkins will also retain the Olver’s additional three employees.
Tompkins Financial president and CEO Stephen Romaine said this move brings more valued customers into the expanded Tompkins Financial family in central New York, so that it can continue to improve their experience and meet their needs through comprehensive array of financial services.
Tompkins Insurance Agencies has six offices in central New York and 15 offices in western New York.
