Reinsurance solutions provider Tokio Millennium Re (UK) has selected technology services provider Xchanging to offer additional infrastructure services.
Under the three year deal, Xchanging will upgrade the existing production and disaster recovery infrastructure that supports the re-insurance software, IRIS.
The deal will also see Xchanging design, implement, host and manage the infrastructure as well as provide annual disaster recovery testing.
Xchanging said that the system refresh offers the capacity to support the underwriting software and the replacement hardware is hosted at its UK data centres.
Tokio Millennium Re has been a customer of Xchanging since 2004 and additional services include policy administration, claims as well as payroll.
Tokio Millennium provides reinsurance solutions to clients in the UK, Republic of Ireland, Africa, Middle East, and Latin America as well as specialty treaty reinsurance to clients across the globe.
